WHAT IS KEY CLUB?

Key Club is the oldest and largest service program for high school students. Student led, the organization teaches leadership within service. Members of Key Club build their character, volunteer, and develop leadership skills. Kiwanis International is our parent club, with other branches such as K-Kids, Builders Club and Circle K being included as well.

MANSFIELD LAKE RIDGE'S KEY CLUB HISTORY

After being chartered in 2012, it took us a few years to finally get stuff together and become active. Once we did, in 2016, we were able to go to DCON. In 2017, we additionally won Top 3 Distinguished Websites. In previous years, Lake Ridge was ranked 20th Key Club in all of the Texas-Oklahoma District and received the 2020 Top 3 Distinguished Website Award. In 2022, we received the Top 3 Distinguished Website Award, 2nd place for our digital poster, and 1st place for our digital scrapbook in the district, and were recognized internationally. In 2023, we ranked 6th in all of the Texas-Oklahoma District and received 1st place digital scrapbook.
